Personal information: When you use Wall Pass, we may collect information associated with your account, including your name, email address, phone number, birthday, and profile photo when you provide it or when it is made available through our authentication provider.

Account and transaction records:We may collect and store records related to your use of the Service, including pass purchases, billing-related records, visit history, check-in activity, and customer support or fraud-prevention records.

Device information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system, and unique identifiers.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card number in our application, but we may receive and store limited billing and payment metadata such as Stripe customer IDs, checkout session IDs, payment status, and purchase amounts.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the purposes described in this policy or on the relevant pages of our Service. We may use your information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including new features and services.
  • Authenticate users, create and manage accounts, and keep profile information in sync.
  • Process pass purchases, billing requests, refunds, and other payment-related operations.
  • Track gym visits, pass balances, account activity, and support or administrative actions.
  • Communicate with you (e.g. updates, newsletters, or promotions). You may opt out at any time.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or other illegal activity.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties unless we give you advance notice, except:

  • Service providers: We may share information with third parties who help us operate the Service or provide services to you.
  • Clerk: We use Clerk for authentication, account access, and profile management. Account identifiers and profile information you provide through sign-up or account management may be processed through Clerk.
  • Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments, manage billing, and maintain payment-related records. Stripe may receive your payment information directly in order to process transactions.
  • Convex: We use Convex as part of our backend infrastructure to store and process application data, including user profile fields, pass records, visit history, and operational data tied to your account.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, in response to legal process, to protect our rights, or to buyers or potential buyers if we seek to sell the company.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain billing and transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

If you delete your account through our authentication provider, that process may remove your ability to sign in through Clerk. However, associated records stored in our backend systems, including visit history, pass records, purchase records, and other operational data tied to your account, may be retained unless separately deleted or required to be removed by law.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by a website. We use essential cookies to preserve and improve the functionality of the Service and your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, but that may reduce the quality of your experience.

Children's Privacy

A parent or legal guardian may use the Service to create a profile for a child and accepts responsibility for the information entered.
